Kedarnath Yatra Ex Haridwar

Starting Point: Haridwar

Day 1: Haridwar to Guptkashi

• Distance:210 km

• Travel Time: 8-9 hours

• Activities:

•  Depart from Haridwar early in the morning.

•  Drive through the scenic routes of the Garhwal Himalayas, passing through towns like Rishikesh, Devprayag, and Rudraprayag.

•  Arrive in Guptkashi by evening.

•  Check-in at the hotel and rest.

• Overnight Stay: Guptkashi

Day 2: Guptkashi to Gaurikund to Kedarnath

• Distance: 30 km drive to Gaurikund + 16 km trek to Kedarnath

• Travel Time: 1-2 hours drive + 6-8 hours trek

• Activities:

•  After breakfast, drive to Gaurikund, the starting point for the Kedarnath trek.

• Begin the trek from Gaurikund to Kedarnath.

• Enjoy the scenic trek along the Mandakini River, passing through lush green forests and waterfalls.

•  Arrive in Kedarnath by late afternoon/evening.

•  Check-in at a guesthouse or ashram.

•  Visit the Kedarnath Temple for the evening Aarti.

• Overnight Stay: Kedarnath

Day 3: Kedarnath Exploration and Rest

• Activities:

•  Early morning visit to Kedarnath Temple for the morning Aarti.

•   Explore the Kedarnath town and the surrounding areas.

•    Rest and acclimatize to the high altitude.

• Overnight Stay: Kedarnath

Day 4: Kedarnath to Gaurikund to Guptkashi

• Distance: 16 km trek to Gaurikund + 30 km drive to Guptkashi

• Travel Time:6-7 hours trek + 1-2 hours drive

• Activities:

•  After breakfast, start the trek back to Gaurikund.

•  Drive back to Guptkashi.

•  Check-in at the hotel and rest.

• Overnight Stay:Guptkashi

Day 5: Guptkashi to Haridwar

• Distance:210 km

• Travel Time: 8-9 hours

• Activities:

•  After breakfast, drive back to Haridwar.

•  Arrive in Haridwar by evening. The tour ends.

Inclusions:

• Accommodation: Guesthouse/ashram stay in Kedarnath and hotel stay in Guptkashi.

• Meals: Breakfast and dinner at the hotels/guesthouses.

• Transportation: Comfortable vehicle for the journey from Haridwar to Guptkashi and back, including transfers to Gaurikund.

• Trekking Guide: Experienced guide for the trekking sections (if needed).

• Permits: Necessary permits and entry fees.

 Exclusions:

• Personal Expenses: Tips, laundry, phone calls, etc.

• Travel Insurance: Not included.

• Additional Meals: Any meals not specified in the itinerary.

• Pony/Palki:Charges for ponies or palanquins during the trek.
